My name is Angelena. I was born and raised here in Anchorage, Alaska and graduated from Alaska Career Academy in 2011. Following graduation, I pursued a billing career working for Procare Home Medical and have been with them ever since. Procare has truly become one of the leading Durable Medical Equipment companies here in Alaska. During my employment with Procare my job duties consisted of but weren’t limited to: management of all Medicaid Accounts Receivable, submission and follow up on claims in a timely manner, handling and care of PHI, scanning, creating charts, patient care, answering phones, prescription renewals and requesting Medicaid pre-authorizations. My passion has always been helping others, and my dream is to become successful while doing so.  

 Hi, my name is Destinee. I was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. In 2009, I joined the dental field as a practice coordinator. During this time, I found my passion for dental and medical billing. While working full-time, I attended night classes at Alaska Career College and obtained my coding and billing certification. A few years later, I was promoted. I successfully managed a growing practice. As the office manager, I assisted with all daily tasks (answered phone calls, confirmations, insurance verifications and breakdowns, scheduled appointments, presented treatment plans, collected copayments, submitted claims and appeals, updated claim status and completed all posting). I set monthly and yearly production and collection goals. I monitored and measured success each month by implementing protocols to streamline necessary but time- consuming tasks. In 2022, I retired from my dental practice to pursue my dream and start a billing company. I'm extremely passionate about all aspects of billing and hope to help other dental offices obtain their collection goals.
